On Tuesday the home of Tracy and Valerie Dieterich was transformed into an intimate pop-up shop featuring Honor’s Resort 2014 and Spring 2014 collections. Guests toured the home while catching a glimpse of the New York-based designer's ready-to-wear pieces. An opera singer-turned-premed-student-turned-women’s wear designer, Giovanna Randall created a collection that features clean silhouettes, intricate laser cuts, and unique leather pleats. The lighter spring collection features digital printed fabrics of branches and budding flowers. In particular, her two-piece digital printed dresses were a hit with guests. And given that the collection was inspired by birch trees, it was fitting that donations were made to the Hermann Park Conservancy.

The private preview was a curated selection hyping Baanou, a boutique set to open near Highland Village next Spring. Childhood friends Maryam Afshari and Lindley Arnoldy are opening Baanou in hopes of bringing collections from select boutique designers like Honor to Houston.
