The future of Houston fashion was on display Thursday at the Annual Teen Fashion Show. The event was hosted by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston's Teen Council, a group that describes themselves as "motivated young people" dedicated to bringing art to their peers. The "2013 Fashion Meltdown" featured sixteen budding designers whose originality transcended their age and experience.

Houston trendsetters Jon Chao (stylist at Cutloose), Selven O’Keef Jarmon (fashion desinger) and Trang Nguyen (owner of Myth & Symbol) judged the show and awarded prizes to the ambitious teens. Chao concluded the evening with words of encouragement for aspiring designers everywhere: “Even if you didn’t win today, don’t give up. Keep creating.”
