It’s definitely feeling more like fall, as we greet November with some much-needed cooler temps. One of the greatest transitional looks for this not-warm-but-not-cool weather is denim on denim.
After spending the summer in chambray shirts and broken-in jeans, why would we give that up now? The key is the adding on to that denim shirt with a denim jacket and topping it off with a nice scarf. Another possibility could be to have a shirt cut in a heavier denim or chambray. 'Tis the season for rigid denim!
For the best results, use contrasting hues to provide a more dynamic look. The biggest thing to avoid is getting too color-specific, as it will either look too bland or like a construction worker uniform. This transitional autumn ensemble provides coverage, but once the temperatures truly start to plummet all you have to do is throw a wool coat over your look for a style that will last through spring.
