The Kendra Scott boutique in Rice Village teamed up with parenting blog Luxe With Kids and Image Consultant Magen Pastor to host an evening billed "Kendra Gives Back" on Thursday. A portion of the evening’s sales were donated to Houston Children Give Back, which, well, hosts kid-centered events to benefit other charities.

Shoppers browsed Kendra Scott’s neon collection as well as pieces from Six Twenty, a modern basics brand selling tees and blouses made of luxury fabrics at moderate prices. Cofounder Angeli Tarsadia Reddy describes her collection as “investment pieces without the investment.” Pastor customized looks for each shopper, pairing Scott's jewelry with Six Twenty’s tops.
