Garden-fresh cocktails are now on the menu at Union Kitchen.

This fall, Union Kitchen is taking farm-to-table to new heights (and taking advantage of Houston's long growing season) with a new menu of garden-inspired cocktails that incorporate fresh herbs from their own garden. Growing their own mint, thyme, basil, and much more onsite, the restaurant is taking the opportunity to concoct freshly prepared seasonal cocktails using fragrant herbs and local spirits. The menu will change with the seasons and the cocktails are designed to pair with their ever-changing specials and traditional menu of classic American dishes.

Known as a casual, neighborhood gem, Union Kitchen offers guests a welcome place to enjoy good food with good friends. With three locations in the greater Houston area, including Bellaire, Memorial and Kingwood, The Union Kitchen has become a favorite among regulars for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and now happy hour.

Available at all Union Kitchen locations, the three featured cocktails celebrate the distinct flavors of fall in a most unique way. The Autumn Breeze features fresh mint, lemongrass, lemon juice, simple syrup, Dripping Springs gin, Sprite and soda; the Honeydew incorporates thyme, lemon juice, honey syrup and Tullamore Dew whiskey; and the Lemon Ginger Leaf has lemon basil, mint, lime juice, simple syrup, Barrow's Intense Ginger liqueur and Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum.

Houstonians can partake in happy hour every Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. While the seasonal selections are priced at $9, red and white wines by the glass are discounted to $5 and select beers to $3.50. Guests can also enjoy a menu of small plates like the Lolo Hawaiian tostadas made with thinly sliced ahi tuna, pineapple chutney and wasabi aioli, the artichoke and spinach dip, or the Italian sausag- stuffed mushrooms, which are available for half-price during happy hour.
