B&B Butchers & Restaurant

Looking for a room with a view? This boutique steak house on Washington Avenue offers a spacious rooftop patio—with sweeping downtown vistas—that can fit up to 150 people and comes with heaters, if needed. Both the elegant, 60-seat upstairs dining room and the charming downstairs butcher shop can fit up to 20 for more intimate affairs.

Buca di Beppo

Sure, it’s a giant chain, but it’s a giant chain that knows what it’s doing. At both locations—in West U and The Woodlands—you’ll find rooms that hold up to 100 along with signature spaces like the Pope Room, whose round table, complete with a Pope John Paul II plaster bust as a centerpiece, seats a dozen. The restaurant’s heaping plates of lasagna, spaghetti and baked ziti, served family-style, are perfect for parties.

Caracol

Make your fiesta a fancy one at this upscale Mexican seafood spot near the Galleria. The restaurant’s 16-seat private wine room, known as the Marea, has a dramatic nautical atmosphere thanks to an actual boat hull attached to its ceiling. Two larger rooms off of the main dining space each accommodate up to 75.

Damian’s Cucina Italiana

This 30-year-old, family-owned Midtown spot offers a menu of authentic Italian dishes in a warm setting, including several private dining rooms that can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 140 people. For something more intimate, book the eight-person chef’s table tucked inside the kitchen itself.

Whether you're dining inside or out, The Grove has the views that will dazzle diners.

The Grove

At this Modern American restaurant downtown, floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide stunning views of Discovery Green and the city skyline, up close and personal. The first-floor Green Room holds up to 20, while the second-floor Vista Room holds up to 240 and has its own private deck.

Hubbell & Hudson Bistro

This upscale New American eatery in the heart of The Woodlands offers four different dining rooms for private parties, seating anywhere from 10 to 42 people. The Chef’s Room offers a view into the kitchen, where Austin Simmons and his talented staff turn out Maine lobster risotto and Peking duck each night.

Kiran’s

This Highland Village gem is best known for its white-tablecloth Indian cuisine and elegant service. In the private, 60-person Polo Room, guests enjoy chef Kiran Verma’s sumptuously spicy fare paired with full-bodied reds and a little light sitar music.

Monarch Bistro at Hotel Zaza

The lush, climate-controlled terrace of this New American restaurant is a showstopper, offering views of Mecom Fountain and the Museum of Fine Arts. Brunch—when chef Jonathan Wicks serves up tiramisu waffles and short rib hash—is a great time to throw a party here. The space easily accommodates groups of up to 100 people.
