Every man should know the power of a great fitting suit. It can make him look flawless, a cut above the rest. No matter the occasion, whether it be work, a night on the town, or a date with the beautiful girl from accounting, a suit commands the attention of your peers and gives you an instant x-factor. It is never about who you wear but how you wear a suit—but with so many options in Houston it's easy for a man to get overwhelmed.
Having more than two or three suits in your closet can also do wonders for life as a stylish suited man. My grandfather had more suits than I could count as a child, and I always dreamed of one day being like him. Now I own 25 suits and over 40 blazers. I know it sounds a bit excessive, but if I needed to I could get by without buying another suit for the next 5 or 7 years. Why not aim for the wardrobe of your dreams, anyways?
The brands listed are tried and true, as tested by me, and are my first considerations when I feel it is time for a new suit at any price point.
London knows tailoring—it was in England where leisure suiting as we know it was invented. Burberry has been around since 1856 and has transcended into a culture icon as well as a staple in luxury fashions. The suiting is impeccably fit for a man of my stature, and I am a sucker for fine Italian-made textiles. When you want to step up your suiting game into the luxury arena, there's no better choice.
