Still think Calvin Klein only makes clothes? Think again. The designer that re-invented denim in the 1980s and perfume in the '90s has long been expanding his all-American style to every corner of the fashion, beauty and home furnishing industries. But this month the most exclusive line from Calvin Klein Home, the Calvin Klein Curator Collection, made its long-awaited debut in Houston with an unveiling at Taylor & Taylor Designs

Designed by Calvin Klein Home creative director Amy Mellon, the Curator Collection is a line of statement pieces for the living room, dining room and bedroom, clean-lined forms in a luxe mix of materials—smoked glass, blackened steel and stained woods—embellished with metal and brass accents. It's available in only a handful of home design stores and showrooms around the country, and Taylor & Taylor is the first destination to carry the line not only in Houston but in all of Texas.

"The look is modern and clean with sophisticated detailing and works for many different styles and tastes. This will surely be a fresh, new look for Houston," said Gail Taylor, the founder and owner of Taylor & Taylor, via press release.

The Calvin Klein Collection is available at Taylor & Taylor Designs showroom, 1426 Antoine.
