Forgetful travelers, rejoice! Whether you are the type of tourist who never remembers to grab the toothpaste or your lotion was confiscated by TSA, Bush Intercontinental Airport has a new retail solution for you, courtesy of Jessica Alba.
The actress, known for such cinematic achievements as Sin City and Honey, co-founded The Honest Company in 2011 after searching in vain for non-toxic, eco-friendly products during her first pregnancy, selling diapers and other baby goods as well as bath and body products, cleaning products. The brand recorded $150 million in sales in 2014 and is valued at $1 billion, making Alba one of the most successful in a crowded field of celebrity entrepreneurs.
Now, just in time for the holiday weekend, Honest Co. has launched Honest On-The-Go retail kiosks at five airports across the U.S., including in IAH's Terminal D/E. The kiosks will include 26 individual products and four curated kits, including essentials like lip balm, toothpaste, sunscreen, bug spray and hand sanitizer; beauty products like conditioning mist and shave oil and parent lifesavers including diapers and wipes and even baby swim trunks. The packages are designed to be convenient for travelers, sized to fall within approved TSA standards for carry-ons.
In addition to IAH, Honest On-The-Go kiosks can be found at Atlanta's Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, in three terminals at D/FW International Airport and at the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport.
