Let someone else drive you and your presents around this year.

This has been a rollercoaster of a year, and the added stress of the final shopping weekend before Christmas and Hanukkah (which starts on December 24 and ends on January 1) means emotions could be running high at area shopping malls tomorrow and Sunday. Enter Uber, which is aiming to make at least part of your shopping expedition a little less stressful.

The ride-sharing service is offering one free ride per customer to five Houston-area shopping malls through next Friday, December 23. Conveniently, the malls Uber is offering rides to also have some of the worst parking situations in the city (though they've still got nothing on the monstrosity that is the Mega H-E-B at Bunker Hill and I-10): The Woodlands Mall, Willowbrook Mall, First Colony Mall, Pearland Town Center and Katy Mills Mall.

Rides to each of these malls are free up to $20, though you'll have to figure out additional transportation options to get home—which, we're assuming, Uber hopes will be its ride-sharing service once again. Depending on how much you buy, you may just need an Uber XL to transport all of your shopping home.

Alternately, if you want to try playing Houston on expert level, you can try battling the crowds at the Houston Galleria and taking ABC-13 traffic reporter Katherine Whaley's handy advice on the best parking spots. If you can handle the Galleria the weekend before Christmas, you can take on the world.
