If you've flown through Love Field in Dallas, you may have seen the Texas Monthly store near the security gates, or perhaps you've spotted the Wall Street Journal store in the Salt Lake City airport, or the New York Times store in, yes, the Louisville International Airport and wondered, Whither a Houstonia store? Wonder no more: It's arrived, and it's now open for business in Terminal C of Bush Intercontinental Airport, just past the big echo dome and the Starbucks.
Like those other publication-branded airport stores, the Houstonia store sells everything from bottles of water to replace the ones confiscated by security to souvenirs, snacks, books and, of course, magazines. Unlike the Texas Monthly or New York Times stores, however, the Houstonia store is giving away a free round-trip ticket on Delta Airlines.
To enter the contest, which runs through April 3, simply take a photo with a copy of Houstonia (the magazine) at Houstonia (the store); post it to Instagram, tag @houstoniamag in the shot and add the hashtag #houstoniaflys. It doesn't even have to be a selfie; a snap of you holding the magazine in front of the store's big neon sign will more than suffice (as well as filling us over here at the office with immense swells of pride—thanks for that!). Just remember to tag us and use that #houstoniaflys hashtag.
Want to increase your odds of winning? Get your friends to enter. You and anyone you force get to participate will receive an extra entry. Just tag friends in your #houstoniaflys contest post and have that friend tag you back in theirs. Head to our Instagram page for more contest details, and be sure to enter by April 3.
