The Houstonia editorial team is looking for our first-ever dining intern. The right fit will be both a writer and a food lover with a flair for organization. Our intern's primary duties will include writing online restaurant and bar listings as well as crafting regular posts for our Gastronaut blog. This is a great way for an entry-level food writer to hone his or her chops, get broad exposure, and get paid for it.
Our dining intern will spend the summer working closely with the dining editor at the big, blue Houstonia house in the Heights, which is centrally located in the city, surrounded by great restaurants, and often hosts big parties and food events (to which you'll also, of course, be invited as our guest). Did we mention our editors sometimes make pain au chocolat from scratch just for fun?
