Houston's celebrated art institution presents SPEAKEASY, a new initiative that reenvisions Lawndale's original "Speakeasy" series from 1992–2002. The revitalized program features a rare performance by Jandek, the folk, rock and blues musical project by local recording label Corwood Industries, while casting a reflective eye on Lawndale's historical relationship to live music and performances.
