Burgerim literally means "many burgers" in Hebrew, but today at the burger joint's newest location in Cypress, it will mean many free burgers.
Burgerim will celebrate its grand opening with a 4 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9945 Barker Cypress Road. Guests will receive a free duo combo, which includes two burgers, fries and a small soft drink.
“We are absolutely thrilled to host our Cypress, Texas grand opening with the beautiful Towne Lake community,” says Ashley Lindley Shaffer, chief marketing officer of Burgerim. “At present, we expect around 2,000 guests this afternoon to enjoy a fun, family-friendly event featuring games, prizes, red carpet, ribbon-cutting—and of course great food."
Burgerim serves mini burgers with an Israeli twist. You have 11 meat choices, including standard beef patties, Wagyu beef, chorizo and even a meatless option for you vegans and vegetarians. That Middle Eastern influence? It makes itself known in the form of mergez and lamb. Toppings run the gamut from pineapple to avocado to a sunny side up egg. Each burger rests on top of your choice of bun, too. We’re told that the standard option, a brioche sesame seed bun, is especially delicious. But they also offer whole wheat and gluten-free bun options.
For the few odd ducks who don't love burgers, Burgerim also offers sandwiches, salads and wings. The hearty ribeye sandwich is topped with garlic aioli, while the chorizo wrap comes with tahini. The basket salad includes fresh arugula, sliced strawberries, glazed pecans and goat cheese and is finished off with a drizzle of raspberry vinaigrette. For dessert, you can sink your teeth into New York cheesecake, marshmallow dream bars or gluten-free flourless chocolate cake.
