Update: Cody Johnson is the replacement for Old Dominion on March 8.

As the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo COMES TO TOWN, an unexpected change to this week's music lineup was reported today. Old Dominion, the Nashville-based country music group known for hits like "Snapback" and "Break Up with Him," cancelled their Wednesday night concert.

According to a tweet, an immediate family member of the band died unexpectedly.

“Our hearts go out to the members of Old Dominion,” says Joel Cowley, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo president and CEO. “They have lost an immediate family member of the band and respectfully cancelled their appearance to allow time to mourn. We understand and support their decision.”

According to Rodeo Houston's website, officials are working on booking a new artist. Tickets purchased for the March 8 performance are still valid, and refunds will be given to the original ticket purchaser if requested before March 8 at 8 a.m.

This is the second shake up to the 2017 rodeo lineup, as Meghan Trainor cancelled in February and was replaced by Demi Lovato for the March 14 performance.
