For the first time since her world-shaking pregnancy announcement, Beyoncé displayed her double baby bump in its full, natural glory this weekend at a baby shower in Beverly Hills dubbed the Carter Push Party.
As has become standard practice, Bey shared a couple stylish black-and-white shots for the event, showing off her African-inspired printed sarong and head scarf and the elaborate henna design on her stomach as well as a couple cute moments with hubby Jay-Z, while proud grandma Miss Tina offered a few more candid peeks on her Instagram, capturing guests including Serena Williams, LaLa Anthony, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, jeweler Lorraine Schwartz and NBA wife Vanessa Bryant.
According to an insider that spoke to E!, the party featured a buffet of soul food, colorful African decór, African dancers and drummers, the aforementioned henna artist and a separate pool party outside for the kids featuring—natch—a lemonade stand.
And because her friends and family are as reluctant as we are to see the golden age of pregnant Beyoncé come to an end, there was even a celebration of the celebration, a.k.a. a flower chair and green veil for guests to recreate Bey's epic announcement photo—as all parties should have, from now until the end of time.
