This sandwich will cure what ails you.

BuffBurger

The local burger chain recently launched a breakfast menu that includes a pork belly sandwich—sous vide pork belly, a hen egg, and cheddar inside homemade challah. The hearty meal has all the protein you need, plus tater tots with jalapeño ketchup. Yes, please.

Flying Pho

Christopher Huang of Ninja Ramen unveiled this bold concept in July, serving only pho bac from northern Vietnam. It’s a simple bowl—savory broth, wide noodles, minced filet mignon, and scallions—that tastes like a warm tonic. Need some extra carbs? Add an egg roll or butter bun from the restaurant’s tiny menu.

Flower Child

This Arizona-based, health-forward restaurant, which arrived in H-Town in September, offers a tasty, potassium-rich, soul-nourishing avocado hummus topped with sweet corn, clementine slices, radishes, and pumpkin seeds, plus pita for dipping. Sub raw veggies like cauliflower, peppers, and watermelon radish for a guilt-free day after.
