Dec. 15 | Discovery Green
At Discovery Green, an ongoing, site-specific installation called GUST takes 1600 handmade pinwheels to make wind visible. This Saturday, members of the Houston Grand Opera Chorus add another layer to the experience with a holiday sing-along.

Dec. 15 | The Jar
It's back! The self-described "audio and visual hallucinatory event" once again corrals nine local music acts to activate a weird and wonderful assortment of site-specific art installations. It's a mini Day for Night, in many ways, so expect fashion, fun, and—due to the open bar situation—dancing with reckless abandon.
Update 12/14: Organizers announced Friday that Dream Machine 2018 will be postponed due to a "safety concern," although the event will "still happening in the very near future (January)." All tickets purchased will be honored for the alternate date.

Dec. 16 | Karbach Brewing
Take this as your excuse to simultaneously drink beer and holiday shop as you navigate Karbach's biergarten populated with local vendors and artists selling, among other things, ugly Christmas sweaters. A screening of A Christmas Story will cap off the event.
