After the SportsTalk 790 radio personality baited SportsRadio 610’s Seth Payne into an on-air pre–Super Bowl yelling match—and got the entire 790 station crew banned from the game—the answer appears to be yes, yes he can. Does Amazon have something against Houston? It’s hard not to feel that way; maybe Jeff Bezos will tell us straight why his company barely considered us as the spot for its new headquarters. Whatcha wearing to the rodeo? If you’re prepared to pony up, as they say, hit El Paso bootmaker Pedro Muñoz’s March 3 trunk show at Pinto Ranch. Oh, I ask myself, what am I doing here? You’re right, that’s Canadian artist Alessia Cara’s question in pouty, catchy-as-all-get-out “Here.” Will the Grammy winner sing it with extra feeling here in Houston during her March 4 rodeo appearance? Perhaps, perhaps not! Either way, that’s a hot ticket.
