What's cooler than James Harden's beard? Nothing, but these shoes are a close second for any diehard Rockets fan.
In its new collaboration with the NBA, classically cool retailer Converse pays homage to the great teams of America's most iconic cities–the Houston Rockets chief among them, naturally–with an upgrade to last fall's debut of the NBA Chuck Taylor All Star Collection.
By 1970, the Chuck Taylor All Star was considered "the best basketball sneaker ever," Converse says, and virtually every player in the newly minted NBA wore the shoes in 1949. Today, the iconic brand seeks to honor that legacy and celebrate the NBA's influence on street style and culture with its latest collaboration.
Every sports fan's new favorite shoes bring the classic Chuck '70 to life with a street style-inspired design and repeat logo print, a nod to Chucks of yore from archives dating back to the 1980s.
Sadly, Houston has no dedicated Converse store of its own, but you can still snag a pair online and at select retailer partners starting Valentine's Day.
