This'll wash out, right?

Doomsday Wrestling Live

March 23 | Market Square Park

Imagine WWE, but without all the self-serious posturing. That's Doomsday Wrestling. The comedy group embraces the ridiculousness of people in neon spandex slamming others to the ground, which is all we ever asked for.

Free. Market Square Park, 301 Milam St. More info at marketsquarepark.com.

The Exonerated

Thru March 24 | Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.

Constructed from a variety of sources—from court records to interviews to letters and more—this play follows six wrongfully convicted inmates as they fight their way out of death row. Catch this moving look at the American justice system before it leaves the stage this weekend.

Tickets $22. MATCH, 3400 S Main St. 713-521-4533. More info and tickets at matchouston.org.

In Bloom Music Festival

March 24—25 | Eleanor Tinsley Park

Look, maybe we should be more skeptical than we are about the inaugural FPSF replacement, but we've chosen optimism. The weather is shaping up to be beautiful, the local acts are the shining stars of the somewhat meh lineup, and there's always the chance for some crazy surprise, like Beyoncé showing up unannounced. (Beyoncé is probably not going to show up unannounced.) Check back Monday after the fact to see what we ultimately decide about the weekend affair.

Tickets from $79. Eleanor Tinsley Park,  18-3600 Allen Pkwy. 512-674-9300. More info and tickets at inbloomfestival.com.

Bria Skonberg

March 23 | Jones Hall

This rising star of the jazz world roars into Houston as the modern era's answer to Louis Armstrong. A trumperter, singe, and songwriter, she teeters gracefully between innovation and classicism.

Tickets from $34. Jones Hall, 615 Louisiana St. 713-224-4772. More info and tickets at spahouston.org.

Houston Holi

March 24 | Crown Festival Park, Sugar Land

This super-sized take on the Hindu festival of color bills itself as the largest in the country, so head out to Sugar Land and toss around some neon paint packets. Part EDM/Bollywood festival, part carnival, part foam party, we can't say this is an authentic Holi celebration, but it does look a fun Holi celebration. The best part? That post festival shower where it looks like a unicorn vomited rainbows all over your bathroom.

Tickets from $10. Crown Festival Park, Sugar Land, 18355 Southwest Fwy. 281-277-6874. More info and tickets at houstonholi.com.
