While the PSAs are not as ubiquitous as they once were, the fight against HIV and AIDS continues. There are plenty of people who have the diseases that still need help to live, and luckily for them, there are organizations coast to coast that provide that help, at great cost. This Thursday you have the opportunity to help in the fight, and all you have to do is go out to eat.

Dining Out For Life was started in 1991 and takes place in 60 cities in the U.S. AIDS Foundation Houston has been a part of it since the beginning, and through the years the event has raised thousands used to help Texans living with HIV/AIDS and for prevention services to reduce new HIV transmissions. It couldn’t be any easier for you to get involved: simply grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of the over 40 participating restaurants and a portion of proceeds will go to AFH.

“Dining Out for Life makes it easy to do something good for the community. All you have to do is enjoy a meal out with friends and family while supporting a good cause,” AIDS Foundation Houston CEO Kelly Young said in a statement.

This year’s list of participating Houston restaurants:

In 2016, 3,197 restaurants across the country raised $4.19 million during Dining Out For Life. If your travels take you to another major city this Thursday outside of Houston, odds are good there are restaurants participating in your area. Here’s a link that’ll help you find the nearest Dining Out For Life event near you.
