There's not much more you need in life besides good friends, a giant stack of waffles, and satisfying and inspiring work. Leslie Knope reminded us of this in the third season of Michael Schur’s masterpiece, Parks and Recreation, and the message rings true to this day.

The greater Houston area has certainly taken to the show’s fictional-turned-factual Galentine’s Day celebrations, much to the appreciation of ladies across the city looking to reclaim their time and celebrate the perfect sunflowers in their lives.

Across the board, we have a feeling this is going to be Houston’s best Galentine’s Day yet.
