What: Looking to put a ring on it? Come one, come all: Thousands of rings from top designers like Simon G, Henri Daussi, and more arrive in Houston specifically for this yearly trunk show of the season's top-trending styles.
When: Friday, October 11; 6:30–9:30 p.m.
Where: Paper Co. Cafe, 1100 Elder St.
What: The biannual fashion presentation returns for its 11th season to showcase designers like Aries Milan, Sameera Faridi, and Engomichu, plus—new this year—a segment of influencer-approved looks hosted by Miss Texas USA 2018 Logan Lester. Tickets are $25–100.
When: Friday, October 11; 8 p.m.–midnight
Where: Warehouse Live, 813 Saint Emanuel St.
What: The brainchild of a music festival organizer, this wildly popular "user-generated concert experience"—on tour around the country—lets you realize the pipe dream of being a hip-hop star for the night. Previous iterations have seen stage appearances from actual A-listers like Lizzo and 2 Chainz. As if that's not enough, one web testimonial describes it as such: "TRAP Karaoke is like going to church...but instead of 'Amazing Grace,' you're singing 'Back That Azz Up.'" Um, sold. 21+, tickets start at $22.
