It’s with a heavy heart and due to unforeseen circumstances that I must inform you that tomorrow will be our last day of service. It’s been super fun and we thank everyone that came and partied with us. Good news is tomorrow all cocktails, wine and booze will be $5. So if you didn’t get a chance to come see us, then tomorrow is your shot and you’ll be getting a deal. Thanks Montrose for being an amazing home for us. Normal hours 3pm-2am. Come through and show your appreciation to the staff! #weliketoparty #onelastride
Quickly and quietly, Montrose bar Lotti Dotti closed after service Friday. According to an Instagram post, the bar closed "due to unforeseen circumstances."
Lotti Dotti was a popular place since opening in March at the former Brooklyn Athletic Club space, fronted by Houston bar pro Michael Riojas (formerly Ladybirds) with menu oversight from Adam Dorris (formerly Pax Americana). Boasting a creative menu focusing on frozen drinks, it aimed to be a patio weather staple, and Houstonia named it one of its best bars for 2019.
We also loved the Frose Altuve, and we hope it resurfaces somewhere else in Houston.
While Dorris helped shape the menu, he is now working as executive chef at downtown cafe and eatery Coterie.
