They're definitely going to Sexy Trivia.

Dinner is good, dinner is great—but if you’re in the mood for something other than grimacing at the check post-prix fixe meal this February 14, you’ve got options.

For naughty nerds: Sexy Trivia

Which ancient city used a winged penis as its mascot? Answer: Pompeii. This is but one fact you could learn at the Valentine’s Day edition of Darling Way’s “Sexy Trivia,” hosted by the Heights shop owner and neighborhood sexpert Beth Liebling at Houston's friskiest bar, Marfreless. This is not your garden variety trivia: Prepare to be quizzed on porn stars, BDSM, anatomy, and more (don’t worry, there are drink specials). Make it a double date—teams are limited to four people max, and all players must be 21 and over—to up your chances of winning the prize from Darling Way (one for each team member).

7:30–9:30 p.m., Marfreless, 2006 Peden St. $20/person in advance, $25/person day of—includes a free drink.

For zen lovers: Yoga for Couples

The couple that oms together stays together, right? Explore Bhakti—the highest form of love—and physical yoga postures to facilitate supportive (literally) relationships as led by Smitha Mallaiah, a mind-body intervention specialist at MD Anderson. Wear comfortable clothing and, post-savasana, enjoy free admission and Happy Hour Thursday on the Beck Building’s covered porch.

6:30–8 p.m., MFAH, 5601 Main St. Free.

For hopeless romantics: Rienzi Twilight Tour

How does your love story stack up against the greats? Find out while you sip a glass of vino—serenaded by Ars Lyrica—and stroll hand-in-hand with bae through Rienzi’s galleries. Love, lust, and betrayal—it’s all there through the lens of history and mythology. You might just learn a thing or two.

6–8 p.m., Rienzi, 1406 Kirby Dr. $22/MFAH members; $25/non-members (valet included).

For history buffs: Victorian Sweetheart Tour

House hunting takes on a whole new meaning with this special tour of Bishop’s Palace, the architectural wonder of 1892 that’s regarded as one of the most prominent 19th Century Victorian residences in the country and a top draw for visitors to Galveston. Champagne, chocolate, and a history lesson on Victorian courting complete a fascinating evening.

5:45–7 p.m., Bishop’s Palace, 1402 Broadway St., Galveston. $30/person.

For dog people: Meadowlake Valentine's Day Bash

Okay, so this actually a date for Fido, but why should a little fur preclude anyone from feeling the love today? Pups will be treated to bobbing for bones, a doggie Valentine exchange, dog-friendly conversation heart treats, pictures in the kissing booth, and—for an additional price—a heart-shaped design stenciled on your pooch. After daycare, meet your (human) boo at your favorite dog park with the cutest third wheel ever.

11 a.m.–4 p.m., Meadowlake Pet Resort & Training Center (both locations), 13500 Furman Rd. & 6393 Richmond Ave. $14.95/pup in addition to regular daycare pricing; call 713-413-1633 to RSVP on Fluffy's behalf.

For Johnny & Baby wannabes: Dirty Dancing with Latin Dance Factory

Touted for the “absolute non-dancer,” this Latin dance 101 class—limited to 30 couples—will cycle through the basics of bachata, meringue, and Kizomba with plenty of wine breaks. Each couple will go home with professional photos (dress to impress!),  balloons, and—hopefully—some serious swagger earned by perfecting a few new steps. Later, you can reenact the finale routine, stage jump and all, so long as your bluetooth speaker will play “(I’ve Had) the Time of My Life.”

7–11:30 p.m., Sable Gate Winery, 2600 Travis St. $55/couple through February 12; $65/couple February 13-14.

Bonus non-date: Tequila Your Ex

If your relationship didn’t quite go the distance and V-Day is more like D-Day to you, hit up Little Woodrow’s EaDo, where you can shred a photo of your ex and wash it all down with a free frozen mango marg—with all the salt, please.

3 p.m.–2 a.m., Little Woodrow's, 2019 Walker St.
