Grandma's Ravioli, sure to be a favorite, at B.B. Italia.

B.B. Italia and B.B. Pizza, the new concepts from Berg Hospitality Group inside the old Carmelo's space, will be opening on Thursday. The 8,000-square-foot restaurant has a 100-seat dining room, a horseshoe-shaped bar, and a boxwood-lined outdoor patio, along with six semi-private and private rooms.

The kitchen is run by executive chef and partner Daniel Berg. For dinner, he'll feature homemade pasta dishes, and plates of veal, chicken, beef, pork, and fish. At lunch, add on Italian hero sandwiches. Plus, both services will get pizza from B.B. Pizza, the New York-style spot inside the restaurant. The pizzeria—also offering calzones and subs—will be open for pickup, with delivery coming soon.

To drink, B.B Italia features an Italian wine list from sommelier Lexey Johnson, along with Italian-focused cocktails from Monique Cioffi-Hernandez. The restaurant will launch a weekend brunch menu and happy hour after a few weeks.
