Houston's World Series of Dog Shows

Thru July 21 | NRG Center

The term "World Series" needn't be tossed around willy nilly, but this probably qualifies. Beyond the American Kennel Club's doggie beauty pageant, there's a barn hunt, talent show, obstacle course, weight pull, and even "canine musical freestyle" where pooches and trainers perform choreographed routines. What more could you need?

Tickets from $10. NRG Center, 1 NRG Park. 281-536-0528. More info and tickets at houstondogshows.com.
