Brianna McClane is a Houston-based journalist covering the city’s restaurants, culture, and communities. She previously worked as a political reporter in Washington, D.C., and has held newsroom roles at the Houston Business Journal and the Houston Chronicle. Her work has appeared in outlets including PBS Kids, National Journal, Eater, CultureMap Houston, The Infatuation, and DiningOut. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. A native Texan, McClane is glad to be back in Houston after living in several corners of the country.
