The eighth annual Barkitecture Houston celebrated the ingenuity and creativity of the Houston community while raising much needed funds for Pup Squad Animal Rescue.

Co-chairs JD Adamson, Tony Gibson and Tiffany Halik kicked off Barkitecture Houston on October 14 with a Yappy Hour Preview party during which Pup Squad honored Cactus Music and Long Drive Dog and Cat Hospital for their years of supporting the local Houston rescue community. Pups came out, many decked out in their Halloween costumes, to join in the Yappy Hour fun and compete in the Halloween Pet costume contest.

The Barkitecture festival featured live music from the Matchsticks, Happy Endings food trucks, and a kid zone with face painting.
