The American Advertising Federation-Houston honored Ric Campo, Chairman and CEO of Camden Property Trust, for his leadership, ingenuity and creativity during the recent 19th Annual Trailblazer Awards Gala, which was held at The Junior League of Houston.
Ric previously served as chairman of the Houston First Corporation, a local government corporation that facilitates the city's economic growth through the business of conventions and the arts and provides a leadership role in region-wide projects that make Houston a more attractive city for visitors and residents. He also chairs the Houston Host Committee of Super Bowl LI in February 2017. As an active participant in the Houston community, Ric is involved in a number of local charitable organizations.
The Trailblazer gala is an AAF-Houston fund-raising activity that focuses on education. This year’s event is still receiving tax deductible donations that will go towards funding the 2016-17 Trailblazer scholarship distributed through the foundation arm of AAF-Houston—the Advertising Education Foundation of Houston, a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation.
