On Monday, January 23 Steak 48 held an event benefitting Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana chapter. Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing and his wife Megan co-hosted the dinner allowing guests to mix and mingle while eating.
Steak 48 donated 100% of all proceeds from food and beverage sales, totaling over $35,000 to the charity. "Make-A-Wish is a very important organization to us in Arizona, and we are honored to continue our support of the charity by benefitting the local chapter in Houston," said Jeff Mastro, co-owner of Steak 48. "We admire all that Make-A-Wish stands for, and we were thrilled to have Brian Cushing, an amazing player and person, host the event with us."
The lively evening's notable guests included Steak 48's brother-owner duo Michael and Jeff Mastro, Senior Vice President of Steak 48's restaurant group Prime Steak Concepts Oliver Badgio, Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing and wife Megan, Food Network star and lifestyle expert Sandra Lee, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana chapter Teri Andrepont and husband Jim, Development Coordinator of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana chapter Michele Wright, Houston Astros star shortstop Carlos Correa, and a crowd of Make-A-Wish supporters including Charles and Dorothy Strauss, Gardner Parker, Cheryl Sage, Chris Cummings, Laura Osburn, Kathy Herbert, and Anita Frewin.
