On the evening of Saturday October 16th, the Children's Museum of Houston threw it back 80s style with a "Miami Vice" themed gala raising more than $975,000.

More than 500 guests attended and were entertained with the sounds of Empire 6 presented by J&D Entertainment. Guests were able to really go back in time thanks to Bergner & Johnson Design.

Along with the help of the Houston Food Bank, the Museum donated part of its live auction proceeds to families affected by hurricane Harvey.  This gala has now helped prepare the Museum to help children in the outreach program for 26 years and definitely more to come!
