The Raising the Barre dinner was hosted Sunday, April 30 at Café Annie for the second year. The event raised over $80,000 for the Houston Ballet's mission to inspire a lasting love and appreciation for dance through artistic excellence, exhilarating performances, innovative choreography, and superb educational programs.

Guests mingled with a crowd of old and new friends beginning with wine and passed hors d'oeuvres. The presenting sponsor BB&T provided elegant centerpieces as guests were treated to a four-course dinner meal prepped by a line-up of Houston's hottest chefs.
