Nearly 400 guests gathered on November 1 at The Revaire for "ReNew & ReDo: A Triumphant Affair," a luncheon honoring and celebrating the clients of The Women's Home.
The afternoon's program began with a prayer by Rev. Dr. Russell J. Levenson Jr., rector of St. Martin's Episcopal Church and inspirational poetry by Miss Pinky. The fashion show that followed featured incredible models tied to the organization, donning clothes and accessories for sale at The Cottage Shop, the Montrose re-sale shopped owned and operated by the The Women's Home. Several supporters of The Women's Home were honored and guests also had the opportunity to see all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes within the organization. The day continued with more powerful performances and videos sharing stories of struggle, survival and resilience.
The event raised more than $250,000 for The Women’s Home and its impactful programs. The organization will continue its work in stride and with a new mission statement: The Women's Home builds communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability.
