A new report by personal-finance website WalletHub has ranked Houston the 15th best place to get married in the country this year.

The study rated 180 of the largest U.S. cities on 23 indicators of cost-effectiveness, convenience, and enjoyment. Houston rose to the top when it came to bridal shops (seventh in the nation), hotels (10th), flower shops (17th), and venues and event spaces (23rd) per capita.

According to the data, couples spend an average of more than $35,000 on their nuptials, swelling the wedding industry to reach $76 billion in revenue. If your big day is coming up and you'd prefer to further localize your dollars, though, you're in luck: A string of Houston-based Etsy shops make personalizing the occasion as easy as one click.
