Houston's most Instagrammable flower shop and working design studio, Joy Box Flowers, opened the doors to their new studio on 1907 Sabine Street for a VIP Press Party on July 26. Noted guests in attendance included KPRC’s Houston Life host Derrick Shore, Brandon Bourque, Nancy Almodavar, Lisa Gielser, Clifford Pugh, Ruchi Mukerjee,  Jean Wilson, Neera Patidar, Iradia Brown, Amanda Abiassi, John Seip IV, Chris Mulcahy, Fritz MacDonald, Alex Grover and Justin Garcia.

Joy Box Flowers owners Layla Asgari and Staci Henderson started the floral design company out of Staci's home before expanding to a garage, now selling out of high-end retail destinations like Nordstrom and River Oaks District. Today the line includes their signature fresh arrangements in locally sourced wooden boxes, a luxury hat box line, and the “Everlasting Collection” in which roses last up to three full years without care. Locals can stop by the studio to pick up pre-made arrangements, create their own takeaway bouquet or signup for floral design workshops via their website.
