This year's attendance nearly doubled at the second annual Bubbles, Bibs and Brunch Bash organized by team Dress for Success on Saturday, January 19, following the We Are Houston 5K. More than 160 runners and supporters showed up at Arnaldo Richards’ Picos Restaurant to celebrate the weekend and get relief from an unusually cold and windy Houston morning.

A number of local businesses partnered to create a savory and satisfying brunch experience for guests; participation came from Alice Blue, The Hay Merchant, Helen Greek Food & Wine, Hungry’s, Kitch, Nekter Juice Bar, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Picos Restaurant, Poitin Bar & Kitchen, River Oaks Donuts, Katz Coffee, and Vibrant. Cocktails were crafted by Deep Eddy Vodka, El Jimador Tequila from Casa Herradura, and Korbel.

Attendees were in high spirits and the biggest reward came to the 30 Dress for Success Houston clients that completed the 5K. It was a prideful afternoon of celebrating the women in their achievement of their health and wellness goals. The Run for a Reason campaign has been a tremendous success for the agency this year due to the $25,000 support from presenting sponsor Christian Brothers Automotive, raising over $56,000 to empower Houston area women to date.
