Home to 3,500 families with room for thousands more, the Johnson Development community boasts an enviable lifestyle with lush natural surroundings, an array of home choices, thoughtfully designed amenities and highly acclaimed schools. It is for these reasons and more Cross Creek Ranch won Community of the Year in the annual Star Awards hosted by the Texas Association of Builders.

Welcome to the Naturehood
Hiking, exploring, bird watching, kayaking and nature photography are just some of the many outdoor activities enjoyed by residents due to the ubiquitous presence of Texas wildflowers, meandering streams, thousands of trees and vast green spaces throughout the community.

A poster child for sustainability, Cross Creek Ranch also boasts many environmentally friendly areas such as the community tree farm and a natural water treatment basin called the Polishing Pond that filters more than 95 percent of the water used to irrigate Cross Creek Ranch.

As both the pond and the award-winning Flewellen Creek Nature Preserve serve as a habitat for wildlife, on any given day families can easily walk the nearby trails to see migratory birds, turtles, frogs, fish and other animal inhabitants.

More Builders, More Choices
Homes for humans are just as enchanting. Eleven builders offer home designs in Cross Creek Ranch. The large family of builders means homebuyers have more options and can easily find a home that fits their budget and lifestyle.

Chesmar Homes, Darling Homes, Highland Homes, Lennar, Newmark Homes, Perry Homes, Taylor Morrison, Trendmaker Homes, Village Builders, Avanti Homes and Partners in Building offer home designs priced from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

Families can choose from townhomes, single-family homes and luxury homes. Cross Creek Ranch also offers options for buyers age 55 and up in Bonterra, a gated resort-style community.

Many Ways to Play
Residents of Cross Creek Ranch enjoy more than a beautiful backyard. They have access to an enviable slate of amenities that includes three pool complexes, a 6,500-square-foot on-site fitness center, on-site Italian Maid Café, the Canine Commons dog park, Arbor Sports Park and Tennis Center, and The Links at Flewellen Creek, an 18-hole disc golf course. A lifestyle director plans approximately 80 events each year exclusively for residents.

Two Districts, Eight Great Schools
The outstanding natural surroundings and amenities aren’t the only draw for homebuyers. Cross Creek Ranch is zoned to two outstanding school districts — Katy ISD and Lamar CISD.

Three of the Katy ISD schools are located within Cross Creek Ranch. Two of the schools, Randolph Elementary and Campbell Elementary, were recently awarded A grades from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as did Tompkins High School. Only 21 percent of all Texas schools were rated as A campuses. The third on-site school, Adams Middle School, opened its doors this August. A new high school will open next year.

Both Katy ISD and Lamar CISD received A ratings from the TEA. Students zoned to Lamar CISD attend Huggins Elementary, recently opened Roberts Middle School, Leaman Junior High and Fulshear High School — all within two miles of the community.

Cross Creek Ranch is located just minutes west of the Grand Parkway off FM 1093. For more information, visit https://www.crosscreektexas.com
