Houston SPCA supporters, family and friends gathered on Thursday, October 18, for a ribbon cutting for the SPCA's new 12-acre campus off of Old Katy Road. More than 1,000 square feet of blue and orange ribbon was strung into a horseshoe shape around the front of each building before it was snipped.

After the official duties were out of the way, the crowd enjoyed Tito's salty dog cocktails, live music, and, of course, plenty of animals—including one pup that was adopted that evening. Party animals were spotted in and around the new adoption center, barn, education center, dog parks and wildlife center.
