Cake tasting, dress shopping, and music galore.

As you daydream of the moment your fiancé says “I do,” reality hits and you realize all the planning that needs to be in place first. What cake will you cut into together? What flowers will fill the room with sweet fragrance? What dress will your bridesmaids wear? Whether you’re a new fiancée, or a single gal just looking for fun, the Texas Bridal & Wedding Expo can help make your dream wedding come true.

The two-day, interactive event is like your Pinterest mood board coming to life, brimming with ideas and inspiration. With over 130 local and statewide businesses, future brides and grooms can source vendors for every detail of the day. From the perfect DJ to get loved ones on the dance floor to a stunning venue to serve as a romantic backdrop, there’s a surplus of vendors ready to make every moment of your wedding day magical.

The expo will host a plethora of bridal dress and tuxedo shops to help narrow down choices for gown silhouettes and a sharp suit for the groom, including Winnie Couture Bridal Atelier and Men’s Warehouse. Makeup by Alyssa Lauren, SiS Smile Teeth Whitening, and even meal prep services by My Fit Foods are also among the list of exhibitors making sure the bride and groom are wedding day ready.

Sample various food tastings such as cakes, cookies, and coffee from Blooming Buttercream, as well as mixed cocktails by The Bar Guests. And since no wedding plan is complete without help with the day’s setup, you'll have a chance to visit with wedding planners and decor companies to make your vision come to life. Over 10 photography and videography businesses will be in attendance, including photo booths and the trending 360 Magic Spin to capture vivid moments with guests.

For even more help with saying “yes” to the dress, there will be live music and a fashion show with models sporting the latest designs by the show’s host, The House Chargois, a local bridal shop. Happening April 9 and 10 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, the expo is free to register online, or a $10 ticket entry at the door.

George R Brown Convention Center 1001 Avenida de las Americas, Houston. Happening April 9 & 10 from 12 PM - 5 PM.
