Easter Events to Attend This Weekend

Here’s where you can fill your baskets with goodies during the Easter holiday.

Although the official day of spring was March 20th, Easter Sunday feels like an unofficial kickoff of the new season. Arguably the most colorful time of the year with traditional bright pastels, it’s time to fill those baskets with sweets and gifts, and enjoy the holiday weekend. Whether you want a family photo with the Easter bunny or attend an eventful brunch, here’s a weekend-filled list of festive activities to attend. 

7 Acre Wood Easter Egg Hunt and Vendors Market

Saturday, April 16 
Hunt for eggs, visit the petting zoo, play a round of mini-golf, and zipline at 7 Acre Wood. Tickets can be purchased to play a variety of carnival games, take pictures with the Easter bunny, buy concessions and more.

Easter Egg Scramble 

Saturday, April 16
This family-friendly Easter fun day in The Woodlands includes small crafts and refreshments for the eggsplorers, along with an Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny! Remember to bring your own basket.

Zoo Egg Hunt and Picnic

Saturday, April 16
TGR Exotics is hosting an Easter family picnic that will consist of an egg hunt, animal meet & greet before and after the hunt, and arts & crafts. With an action-packed itinerary, guests are encouraged to bring a packed lunch. 

TGR Exotic Wildlife Park 22115 Sherrod Land, Spring TX 77389 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Egg hunt will begin at 12:30 p.m. Prices will range from $7-$20 based on age. Tickets can be purchased via the website.

Now Church Easter Eggstravaganza 

Saturday, April 16
To outdo all the other egg hunts in the city, Now Church’s Easter Extravaganza will have 10,000 decorative eggs hidden during this year’s festival! Plus, there will be food and music for to round out the day.

Easter Egg Scavenger Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 16
Bring your family to a special Easter-themed, self guided hike where you will use GPS to find eggs hidden throughout the park and unique surprises.

mEGGa Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 16 
Katy’s First Baptist Church’s egg hunt will be one of the biggest you’ve ever seen with a hunt for over 5,000 eggs, different arts and crafts, tasty treats, games, photo booths and bouncy houses galore! 

Katy’s First Baptist Church 600 Pin Oak Rd, Katy TX 77494 10 to 11:30 a.m Egg hunt will begin at 10:30 and 11 a.m. Attendance is free. 

Bethel's Family Christian Academy Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble Fundraiser

Saturday, April 16 
Kids aren’t the only ones who can have egg hunting fun. Those 18 and older can participate in a flashlight egg hunt with over 2,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes such as an air fryer, cash money, gift cards and a 50-inch television.

The Aquarium

Saturday, April 16
The Downtown Aquarium is hosting a breakfast event that includes a visit from the Easter bunny. Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast featuring omelet and waffle stations, assorted cereals, and orange juice while waiting to take a picture with the bunny.

The brunch will be held Saturday, April 16, from 9 to 11 a.m. Tickets are $21.99 for adults, $13.99 for kids 3-10; children 2 and under are free. Reserve your table online at the website. Downtown Aquarium, 410 Bagby St.

Galleria Mall

For those who prefer to indulge in true Easter nostalgia, the Galleria Mall will have the Easter bunny available for pictures every day until Easter Sunday. Located on the first level near Nordstrom, the photo opportunity features a backdrop adorned with flowers enclosed by a white picket fence and Easter eggs decorating the scene. While guests are encouraged to make a reservation, the bunny will be able to take walk-ups between appointments. 

The Galleria Mall Easter bunny will be available until Sunday, April 17, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Galleria Mall, 5135 W. Alabama St.

Easter Farm Days at P-6 Farms 

Friday, April 15
P-6 Farms is hosting an Easter festival for kids of all ages this weekend. Activities like a cow train, hayrides, farm animal visits and duck races promise a unique Easter experience. The farm wouldn’t be complete without an egg hunt and visit from the Easter bunny.
