There are all kinds of people, all kinds of passions, all kinds of roads for those people and passions to travel down—especially in Texas, where the multitude and variety of fascinations send roads snaking in all directions. Given that, deciding on the greatest 52 road trips in Houstonia would seem an impossible task. How did we accomplish it? By imposing an arbitrary restriction: every destination had to be reachable on one tank of gas. You’d think that this rule would make our task a little easier, and it did.
