Guests gathered for an intimate coffee in the home of co-chairs Consuelo and Ian Macpherson on October 1 to kick off Breakthrough Houston’s 8th annual Building Our Future luncheon, which will be held February 29 at the newly finished Flores Hall and Campus Center at St. John’s School. Fellow co-chairs Ting and John Bresnahan and Lauren and Brad Morgan gathered alongside last year’s keynote speaker Laura Arnold to celebrate the spring event.
This is the first of a three-year expansion plan that will increase numbers of students, teachers and families served by Breakthrough Houston, a tuition-free, college-preparatory program for economically disadvantaged students and talented, aspiring educators.
