On Thursday, March 29, the Chopard Boutique in River Oaks District hosted the Kick-Off Party for The Children’s Assessment Center’s 19^th Annual Spirit of Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show. Attendees included luncheon chairs, Rishma Mohamed, Barbara Steen and Megan Vondra. All kick-off party guests received a free raffle ticket for a Happy Diamonds watch ($5,090 value) and 10% of the evening’s proceeds were donated to The CAC.

The Spirit of Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show is scheduled for Thursday, April 19 at the Royal Sonesta. Produced by Ursaline Hamiliton, this year’s fashion is presented by Elizabeth Anthony with special appearance by Christian Siriano. The event will also honor Congressman Ted Poe for his ongoing support of the CAC, the congressman will be introduced by Roger Clemens.

Funds raised at these events will support direct service programs that The Children’s Assessment Center offers such as forensic interviews, medical services, and therapy programs which are critical to the hope and healing of children victims of sexual abuse, and their families.
