Dress for Success Houston and Women of Wardrobe celebrated the 15th anniversary of the annual Summer Soiree on August 22 at Tootsies. The WOW Summer Soiree has become the unofficial kickoff to Houston’s party season, and was a colorful blend of fashion, food, sips, and shopping. Guests dressed for the occasion in Hunter Bell’s fall line and little black dresses, pairing them with sky-high Sam Edelman heels and the latest “it” bags. Each guest received a $25 Tootsies gift card for an inspired shopping experience. Tootsies donated 15 percent of the evening’s sales back to DFSH, helping them raise $20,000. Serving more than 40,000 Houston area women for 20 years, the mission of DFSH is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and life.
