Following the tragedy of Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, a memorial was held for the lives lost on Friday night at NRG Park.

Hundreds showed up to pay their respects to those who were killed and injured. Makeshift memorials were sprawled throughout the arena, seen along Westridge Street and Kirby Drive.

Travis Scott released a statement on social media Saturday about the tragic event. “I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night,” he wrote on social media. “My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.”

The monument was filled with balloons, flowers, and signs, remembering those who lost their lives at the mass casualty event.
