Description

Joginder “Yogi” Gahunia opened Raja Sweets in 1985, making it one of the oldest restaurants in Little India. He passed away in 2002, but his family—including industrious daughter Sharan—still runs the place the way he did, offering freshly made food and sweets for very accessible prices, every day. The lunch buffet is often packed, and dinner sees crowds coming through for the butter chicken and for Raja’s signature pastries, such as the creamy Chenna Juli and donut-like gulab jamun.
