Houston Restaurant Weeks™ comes roaring back August 1 through September 7 for its 23rd year, inviting Houstonians to Dine Out & Do Good!™ during 38 days of exceptional dining experiences that support a meaningful cause. This year, diners can enjoy specially priced prix fixe menus while helping raise critical funds for the Houston Food Bank and supporting local restaurants during one of the hospitality industry’s most challenging seasons.
Founded in 2003 by the late media personality and philanthropist Cleverley Stone, Houston Restaurant Weeks was created to support restaurants during August, historically one of the slowest months of the year for the industry. What began as a way to fill restaurant tables and bring the community together has grown into the largest annual restaurant fundraiser benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
Since its inception, Houston Restaurant Weeks has raised more than $23 million for the Houston Food Bank, helping provide the equivalent of more than 70 million meals to food insecure neighbors across Southeast Texas. Today, Katie Stone, president of The Cleverley Stone Foundation, continues her mother’s legacy by carrying forward the mission of turning dining out into an opportunity to give back.

Nearly 350 restaurants across Greater Houston and surrounding areas are expected to participate this year, including restaurants in the Galleria, Inner Loop, West Houston, East End, Midtown, Downtown, Sugar Land, Galveston, and The Woodlands. From award winning fine dining destinations to beloved neighborhood favorites, Houston Restaurant Weeks offers diners the chance to explore the city’s incredible culinary scene while making a direct impact.
Participating restaurants will offer specially priced prix fixe menus featuring $25 brunch and lunch options, along with $39 and $55 dinner menus. Each Houston Restaurant Weeks meal includes a donation to the Houston Food Bank, giving diners an easy way to support local businesses and help fight hunger with every reservation.
This year’s event arrives at a pivotal time for Houston’s restaurant community. Rising food and labor costs, thinner margins, and a slower than usual summer have created challenges for restaurants across the region. At the same time, diners are looking for meaningful experiences that fit their budgets. Houston Restaurant Weeks brings both needs together by offering affordable opportunities to enjoy some of Houston’s best restaurants while supporting the people and businesses that make the city’s dining scene so special.
Beginning July 15, diners can explore participating restaurants, view menus, and make reservations at HoustonRestaurantWeeks.com. The list of participating restaurants will continue to grow leading up to the start of the event on August 1.
Whether you are planning a date night, a gathering with friends, a business lunch, or a weekend brunch, Houston Restaurant Weeks is the perfect opportunity to discover something new, revisit a favorite restaurant, and make a difference one meal at a time.
