Do Your Dad-Diligence and Take Your Kid to Bishops This Saturday

On Dad duty? Need a haircut? You’re in luck: This Saturday, December 8, Dove Men+Care is taking over the Midtown Bishops Cut/Color barbershop to offer free shampoos and haircuts to men and their kids.

The event is part of Dove’s nationwide initiative to encourage quality paternal bonding time during what’s typically the busiest time of year. Bishops, a national chain, will use Dove men’s products for the complimentary services at the 22 participating locations, including the Midtown salon at 3100 Fannin Street.

Dove touts its men’s products as engineered specifically to offer men thicker, fuller-looking hair and to protect against dandruff.

The “Holiday Shear” promotion lasts for one day, and free cuts are offered from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. or until Dove products run out, Bishops says. Spots are first-come, first-served on a walk-in basis only.
